Trees are an important part of our world.  

Trees give us wood for building  and for making paper.  

They provide habitats (houses) for insects, birds and other animals.

 Many types of fruits and nuts come from trees -- for example, apples, oranges, walnuts, pears and peaches. 

 

  

Trees also help us keep our air clean .

We breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.  

Trees breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen.  

We're best friends!

Trees do many things for us. They help  other plants and animals in  our ecosystem .

 Trees can also be very beautiful . They look tall enough to touch the sky and so big around you can't hug them.
